With this piece Strindberg creates an elaborate discourse on vampire love, showing the exchange in the constant power struggle of love relationships. Love in this sense, comes with the same psychological traits as cannibalism, showing how hatred, passion and adoration coexist in the same space. Creditors arose from stage management exercises taught by theatre professor Ludwik Margules in the Foro de la Ribera, Mexico city.
