The fringe was a fashion phenomena which began in the nineteen eighties and established itself for two decades in Mexico City as a popular hairstyle. This fringe which resembles a sculpted wave coming off the person’s face, comes from the wish to emulate the attributes and penchant for the aesthetic model of the Mexican telenovelas.
